Digital Ninjas
The Streets Ahead
Our unique flagship workshop focuses on empowering pupils to achieve a healthy balance between screen time and non-screen time.
Using our specially designed interactive games, we discuss the pros and cons of technology, highlighting the effects that device-overuse has on our bodies and brains.
Some of the topics we discuss include: excess dopamine, effects of blue light, absence of stopping cues and suppression of melatonin. We focus on what happens to our productivity when we task switch/multi-task by showing pupils ways to avoid distractions, improve focus, manage their time and be fully present to perform at their best.
With new knowledge and skills, pupils can
make conscious informed decisions with an
in-depth understanding of how devices impact our sleep, working memory, focus, happiness and emotional wellbeing.
Digital Ninjas is aimed at 8-12 year-olds & covers several aspects of the PSHE curriculum (see below). The workshop lasts around 75 minutes where the children will participate in team games, question-answer sessions and cognitive activities.

This workshop will prepare students transitioning from Year 6 to Year 7.
We discuss nurturing new friendships, facing new challenges and dealing with new responsibilities . We offer help with practical skills such as planning journeys to school, good time management and getting organised .

“Physical health and mental wellbeing:

teaching the characteristics of good physical health and mental wellbeing. …that mental wellbeing is a normal part of daily life, in the same way as physical health.

the benefits and importance of …exercise….and sufficient sleep, … …understand[ing] … normal range of emotions … everyone experiences. …

pupils [should learn] ….to protect and support their own and others’ health and wellbeing, including simple self-care techniques, …prevention of health and wellbeing problems.

Emphasis should be given to the positive two-way relationship between good physical health and good mental wellbeing, and the benefits to mental wellbeing of physical exercise and time spent outdoors.

Pupils should also be taught the benefits of hobbies, interests and participation in their own communities. About Us
We are Dalia Tilsiter and Sharon Elton. We have created HIP Workshops for Kids to address the many challenges faced in today's fast-paced modern digital world.
We teamed up when we discovered we both felt passionate about helping children deal with the impact of technology. We have devoted ourselves to this project, gaining training and qualifications. We researched from the ground level up, talking to medical professionals, educators, parents and children, also gathering information from articles and published papers. This enabled us to see the huge impact of digital devices on children's mental health and physical well-being.
We have both trained with Place2Be and have the CPCAB Level 2 Diploma Counselling skills for working with children and are DBS checked. Our combined experience includes children's counselling, child coaching, NVQ's, degrees and post grads. Dalia has a BA Hons from UCL in French Language and Literature. Dalia brought up two children whilst running her own part time business training clients in the computer user-experience of IT. Sharon graduated university with a Sports degree and then took her Bar Exams, practicing as a lawyer and raising her three children,
